Epoxy Injection

When a full removal of structural foundation is not feasible due to site conditions or an upset with process resulting in high volume of revenue loss, sometimes the most acceptable option is Epoxy Injection under various pressures. This process is intended to bond the separated portions of structure back together making it once again homogeneous. Some equipment base plates and skids will have delaminations just under the surface, making the transfer of load and vibration a possible issue, these can be drilled and injected carefully, as you don't want to cause deflection in the steel, resulting in possible misalignment.  Epoxy based grouting is preferred to cement due to property of quick setting, very low shrinkage, excellent adhesion, high strength, low viscosity to penetrate even hair cracks and good resistance to most of the chemicals.  Restocrete has proven Epoxy Resin Injection experience, please contact us if you have any of the following;

  • Bridge crack repair.
  • Plant process equipment foundations cracks and delaminations.
  • Parking garage deck and columns.
  • Below grade foundation cracks.
  • Pile cap cracking due to movement of anchored structures.
  • Any damage due to fires, breakdowns or failures.
  • Rotating and static equipment base plates and skid hollows.
